April Bowlby was born in Vallejo, California, and was later enrolled at Moorpark College where she pursued degree work on French, Marine Biology, and Ballet. Modeling began at the end of her teens after which she switched her focus on acting. Her first professional performance as an actor was a 2005 guest-starring appearance in "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation".
