Jillian Noel Shennessy was born on 25th November 1968 in Canada is a Canadian actress and musician who was recognized for her significant contributions for American television. The show has been highly praised for her outstanding performances in the American television series Law & Order in which she as Claire Kincaid as a prosecutor for three seasons. She also appeared on Crossing Jordan, wherein she portrayed Jordan Cavanaugh the main character over a period of six years. Hennessy is also well-known for her exceptional performances in RoboCop 3 Most Wanted. Other films comprise Chutney Popcorn (an independent film) and The Acting Class. Hennessy began her acting career as an actress in Dead Ringers with her sister. The actress starred in Broadway as a part of the show Buddy The Buddy Holly Story in 1990. The Buddy Holly Story during the year 1990 and stepped into the sci-fi world in 1993 playing the role of Dr. Marie Lazarus in RoboCop 3. The big break came after the season ended, when she was cast as Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the hit NBC drama Law & Order. The role was a hit with the viewers for three seasons until she left it in 1996. Parker has appeared on movies and series like RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys On The Side, West Wing Angels in America as well as RED Fried Tomatoes for which she won the Golden Globe Award and Emmy Award. Parker has also been awarded an award called the Tony Award for Best Actress 2001 in the play Proof.
