John Denver, a singer-songwriter born in Colorado who focused on folk-pop music that was a hit with millions of fans. Born Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. in Roswell New Mexico he fell in affection with Colorado and eventually settled in Aspen. Denver's state anthems are a hit and have attracted many fans to Colorado.
