Aaliyah Dana Haaughton soared to prominence after the release of the album she dubbed Age Ain't Nothing but A Number in the year 1994. In the age group of 15, the album achieved Gold standing. R. Kelly was a significant influence in this project which put the singer into the limelight. She has a daughter, resides in Los Angeles and is pursuing acting.
